| Located in the heart of downtown
Tempe on the corner of South Mill Avenue
and 5th Street, Gordon Biersch is a modern day brewpub. Tucked into
the second story of a New Orleans style building the restaurant has
three balconies overlooking the hustle and bustle of downtown and retains
the warm, fun, comfortable feel of a gathering place to enjoy fresh
beer and great food. The modern-day décor, unique architecture,
and menu are interesting, imaginative, and more upscale than that found
in traditional brewpubs. The brewery is showcased behind glass walls
and is the centerpiece of our restaurants. Most days, guests can see
our brewers in action. Our staff and brewer can answer any questions
you may have regarding our authentic lagers, our food, our locations,
group parties, and special events. Gordon Biersch Brewing Company is driven by a passion for beer. Brewing engineer Dan Gordon is the only American in 40 years to graduate from the prestigious five-year brewing engineering program at Weinhestephan, the world's premier brewing university in Germany. Committed to bringing you the finest, freshest lagers possible, beers are brewed according to Germany's 500-year-old purity law called Reinheitsgebot which dictates only four ingredients can be used in brewing beer: malted barley, water, hops, and yeast. The restaurant is within walking distance from
major business, ASU and Sun Devil Stadium and offers complimentary valet
parking beginning at 5:00 p.m. every night.
