| Ranked #1 Pizzeria in the Zagat Survey year after year, Patsy Grimaldi’s knows how to make pizza. There are three essential components to truly great pizza – ingredients, know-how and the perfect oven – Grimaldi’s masters all three. Grimaldi's pizzas are made with fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, and dough prepared daily. Patsy’s famous tomato sauce is made from scratch, using only the freshest herbs, spices and tomatoes. The toppings are the best and freshest available - from the finest sweet Italian sausage to the most flavorful red peppers masterfully roasted in Grimaldi's coal-brick ovens. Grimaldi's has the finest pizza pedigree in America. Patsy Grimaldi has perfected the art of pizza-making that he learned at the original Patsy's Pizzeria in Harlem during its golden days. Patsy Grimaldi started making pies, and learning the secrets to preparing exceptional pizza, at his Uncle Patsy Lancieri's restaurant in 1941 at the age of 10. Patsy Grimaldi’s coal brick ovens were designed and built by hand. Weighing 25 tons and containing 250 pounds of coal, the ovens heat up to 1200F. This creates an ideal cooking environment spreading the heat evenly throughout the pie to produce pizza perfection Grimaldi’s style. The pizzas cook in approximately 2 ½ minutes and produce a pie with extraordinary crispy, smoky crust. Grimaldi’s delicious pizzas and calzones are accompanied by a variety of fresh salads, including antipasto, and delectable Italian desserts. This delicious Italian fare is all served up in a pizzeria with a modern and loft-like interior with exposed brick, rustic metal and wrought iron accents throughout. An inviting display kitchen provides a dramatic backdrop for the dining room and a quiet outdoor patio twinkles with white lights in the evenings. The exclusive Patsy Room offers private seating for parties of 8 – 10. Patsy Grimaldi’s is open Tuesday through
Sunday 11 a.m. – Midnight.
